CNC Turner, Setter, Operator - Multi
- Axis Lathes We are a well-established engineering company, specialising in the manufacture of our own high-quality products. Due to increasing work, an opportunity has arisen for a CNC Turner Programmer, Setter, Operator or CNC Turner, Setter, Operator to join our friendly business in Poole, Dorset. The candidate will be responsible for setting and operating multi-axis CNC lathes and programming where required (Training provided for CNC Setters).

This is a senior position with the possibility of extended and allied roles.

The right candidate must have previous experience in a similar role and will be fully competent and able to work unsupervised as part of a small team.

Experience with sliding head lathes and CNC milling machines an advantage, but not essential. Hours of work Generally, 7am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am 1pm Friday - but we are flexible on actual regular hours and start/finish time. Skills required Set up & operate CNC Lathe machine tools with FANUC control systems. Review, edit and alter existing programs accordingly.

Competently perform dry runs and produce first offs. To read, understand and work to engineering drawings. Must be able to use shop floor inspection equipment. Able to effectively and safely delegate running of batches. Perform associated engineering tasks. Good communication skills with a flexible approach and attitude.
