Mechanical Assembly Technician - Rolling Stock

Rullion is recruiting Mechanical Assembly Technicians on behalf of Alstom to support production activities at their Derby manufacturing facility.

Working within Alstom's historic Derby manufacturing facility, you'll support the assembly and production of modern rolling stock as part of one of the UK's leading rail engineering teams.

Contract:
Initial 6-month contract with the potential for extension.

Shift Pattern: Rotating Shifts

Monday - Thursday:

Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00

Week 2: 14:00 - 22:00

Fridays:

06:00 - 12:00 or 12:00 - 18:00 depending on shift pattern

Pay Rates:

• Days (06:00 - 14:00): £19.57 PAYE / £26.17 Umbrella
• Afternoons (14:00 - 22:00): £24.06 PAYE / £28.09 Umbrella

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical fitting and assembly activities on rolling stock.
• Complete maintenance, refurbishment and modification tasks in line with work instructions.
• Work safely within a production environment, adhering to all health and safety procedures.
• Support colleagues across different disciplines where required.
