Location: Derbyshire
Major Recruitment is currently recruiting a Team Leader/Supervisor to join a busy and expanding food manufacturing company based in Littleover (DE23).
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals looking for long-term employment with genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position and progress into a supervisory role.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Food Production Operative, your duties will include:
Packing and filling honey jars into catering-size buckets and drums
Food packing and labelling
Working on a fast-paced production line
Palletising and shrink wrapping finished products
Operating production machinery
Carrying out quality checks
Preparing jars and containers for production
Cleaning production and staff areas
General factory and warehouse duties
What We're Looking For

You'll also have:
A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Good attention to detail

Secure a permanent contract after an initial three-month agency period paying £14.10p/h
Progress into a Supervisor role

Receive training and development opportunitiesA Forklift Licence and Food Safety Certificate are advantageous but not essential, as full training and certification can be provided for the right candidate.
Important Information
Due to food hygiene regulations:
No jewellery or exposed piercings
No false nails, nail extensions or eyelash extensions
Candidates must be comfortable working within a food manufacturing environment
Pay & Benefits
£13.00per hour
Monday to Friday working pattern
9:00am - 5:00pm day shifts
Weekly pay
Immediate starts available
Ongoing temporary role with permanent opportunities
