Position: Packer (FLT Counterbalance)
Location:

Raynesway, Derby (moving to Ilkeston within a few weeks)

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Packer / FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy manufacturing and distribution site in Ilkeston.

This role combines packing duties with forklift truck operation, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied position and is happy working across both warehouse and production areas. A valid Counterbalance licence is required, although both accredited and in-house licences will be considered.

Main Duties

Packing finished products ready for dispatch
Picking and preparing customer orders
Loading and unloading deliveries
Moving stock and materials using a Counterbalance FLT
Completing basic stock and dispatch paperwork
Carrying out quality checks on packed products
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
Supporting warehouse and production operations as required

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in a warehouse, packing, production or dispatch role
Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (accredited or in-house accepted)
Comfortable operating a forklift truck in a busy environment
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible approach to duties as business needs require
