Production Operative

- Saturday, 6:00am - 3:00pm

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy food production team based in Derby, DE65.
As a Production Operative, you will play an important role in producing and preparing raw turkey products to high-quality standards, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced food production environment, ideal for individuals who are reliable, hardworking and comfortable with manual work.
Key Responsibilities- Packing and bagging raw turkey portions.
- Weighing products and printing accurate labels.
- Moving raw products and ingredients from storage to production lines.
- Weighing, labelling and sealing products ready for despatch.
- Carrying out manual handling duties, including lifting products and equipment weighing up to 20kg.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ensuring products meet quality standards for temperature, grading, wrapping and presentation.
- Supporting equipment set-up and production line changeovers to minimise downtime.
- A reliable and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Comfortable with manual handling and lifting up to 20kg.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to follow food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures.
- Must have your own transport due to the location in Derby, DE65.
- Previous food production experience would be advantageous.

Tuesday to Saturday | 6:00am - 3:00pm
