Job Description & How to Apply Below

About the Role

We're looking for a Marketing Designer to shape how Alertive shows up in the market.

You'll bring our brand and product to life across campaigns, content, presentations, events and digital channels, while helping us evolve our visual identity as the business grows.

The foundations of our new brand are in place, but there's plenty still to shape. You'll work closely with the Head of Marketing to take ideas from initial concept through to finished execution, contributing to the creative thinking rather than simply receiving finished briefs.

We're a small marketing team, so the role is broad and your work will be highly visible. We're looking for someone who enjoys that variety, has strong creative judgement, is curious about technology and wants the freedom to make an impact.

What You'll Actually Do

You'll own Alertive's day-to-day visual identity and help develop how the brand and product come to life as we grow. That means:

  • Developing campaign concepts and creative across social, digital, presentations, customer stories, events and sales materials
  • Evolving our visual identity, illustration system, templates and brand toolkit
  • Working with Marketing and Product to understand how Alertive works and translate our technology, features and healthcare workflows into clear and compelling creative
  • Developing video content across customer stories, product content, events, social and campaigns
  • Helping shape our Word Press website, from campaign landing pages to improving how our proposition and product are presented
  • Using AI and emerging creative tools to explore ideas, improve workflows and accelerate production
  • Building reusable approaches that make recurring creative work faster and more consistent

You'll have plenty of freedom to contribute ideas, challenge briefs and identify opportunities to improve our creative output.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a designer who enjoys breadth and is comfortable moving between different types of creative work.

You'll ideally bring:

  • 3+ years' experience in a design role, ideally within an in-house, B2B or similarly fast-moving environment
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent typography, layout and visual judgement across different formats
  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Illustrator and In Design
  • The ability to take work from an early idea through to polished final execution
  • An understanding of audiences, campaigns and commercial objectives
  • Genuine curiosity about technology and an interest in getting under the skin of digital products to find creative ways to bring them to life
  • Confidence using AI as part of your creative workflow and an appetite for experimenting with new tools
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without compromising attention to detail
  • Confidence taking an incomplete brief, asking the right questions and turning it into something useful
  • The ability to explain your creative thinking and work collaboratively with people who aren't designers
A Bit About You

You don't need everything on this list, but we'd particularly like to hear about experience with:

  • Video editing and simple branded motion graphics
  • Word Press and Elementor
  • Figma, particularly components and auto-layout
  • Building or maintaining design systems, template libraries or brand toolkits
  • Photography
  • Healthcare, healthtech or another technically complex sector

Life At Alertive
