Looking to use your skills to benefit older people? A career within the social care sector could be for you....

As the UK’s largest charity care provider, MHA enables people to live later life well through the commitment of 7000 colleagues and dedication of 4000 volunteers.

Through specialist care homes, thriving retirement living and vibrant community groups and befriending, we inspire the best care and wellbeing at every stage of later life.

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Statutory & Trusts Bid Writer to help secure significant income for MHA through high-quality, persuasive tenders and contract bids to statutory organisations, and trust and foundation applications. The role will develop compelling cases for support, manage a strong pipeline of prospects, and build long-term relationships with funders to support services that reduce loneliness, improve wellbeing, and enhance care for older people.

About you: You will have a proven track record in securing statutory funding through successful tenders. We are looking for direct experience of developing and submitting applications to charitable trusts and foundations, and the National Lottery Community Fund or other National Lottery funding programme.

Why join?: You will be joining an organization with strong values, a highly supportive culture and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of employees. In addition, you will work alongside highly motivated colleagues in an environment of strong teamwork whilst also having fun. This is a hugely rewarding role and a career to be proud of where every day you will go home knowing you made a positive difference to the lives of older people.

Please note that interviews may take place prior to the closing date and if a suitable candidate is appointed the role may close early.
