Were looking for a skilled and passionate Community Voice Network Facilitator to help bring people together amplify local voices and ensure communities are at the heart of designing and delivering services.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of Community Voice Networks across Derbyshire working alongside residents community groups public sector partners and people with lived experience to tackle loneliness strengthen social connections and drive meaningful change. About the role
As Community Voice Network Facilitator youll use an asset-based approach to identify build and strengthen resilient community networks. Youll create opportunities for people to influence local priorities shape services and help determine how community funding is used. Youll lead the development and coordination of Community Voice Networks within your locality ensuring communities have a genuine say in:
Local social connection use of Community Involvement design and delivery of evaluation of service impact. Working closely with residents voluntary groups health partners and local forums youll help create stronger more connected communities where everyones voice matters. What youll be doing
Youll:
Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups residents and service partners across Community Voice Networks forums meetings and engagement underrepresented communities and people at greater risk of isolation are actively existing community assets networks and engagement alongside Locality Health and Wellbeing Partnerships and other key co-design and shared decision-making with coach and support Community Builders and Community volunteer recruitment development and engagement oversee the Community Involvement Fund and local grant outcomes evaluate impact and produce high-quality reports for commissioners and for the Contract Manager when required.
Who are we looking forWere looking for someone who is passionate about community development and skilled at bringing people together around a common have:
Experience working in communities and engaging diverse relationship-building and communication facilitating workshops meetings consultations and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and understanding of loneliness social isolation wellbeing and community supporting co-production and community-led ability to influence motivate and inspire organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple monitoring outcomes and producing reports.
