Job
Permanent Practice Nurse – DerbySalary: £35,000 per annum (negotiable, dependant on experience). Start: ASAP.
We are working with a modern GP practice in Derby who are currently looking for a full‑time Practice Nurse to start ASAP. The role involves collaborating with GPs, nurses and healthcare assistants.
Responsibilities- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, caring for patients presenting with undifferentiated health problems.
- Administer child and adult immunisations.
- Perform cervical cytology, diabetes, asthma and COPD monitoring, family planning services.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of QOF, Enhanced Services and clinical updates, including immunisations and vaccinations.
- Knowledge or experience of Chronic Disease Management.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of QOF and Enhanced Services.
- Fully up to date in terms of clinical updates, immunisations and vaccinations.
