Permanent Practice Nurse – Derby
£35,000 p/a (salary negotiable and dependent on experience)
Dream Medical are working with a modern GP practice in Derby who are currently looking for a full‑time Practice Nurse to start ASAP. The position is permanent full‑time and duties are as follows:
You will be working as part of a team alongside GPs, nurses and healthcare assistants.
Requirements- Knowledge or experience of Chronic Disease Management
- The care of patients presenting with undifferentiated health problems
- Child and adult immunisations
- Cervical cytology
- Diabetes
- Asthma and COPD monitoring
- Family planning
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Up to date knowledge of QOF and Enhanced Services
- Be fully up to date in terms of clinical updates, immunisations and vaccinations
