Registered Nurse – RGN, RMN or RNLD

Salary: £19.00–£21.00 per hour

Contract:

Permanent, full time

Brookes Recruitment is working with a specialist nursing care home in Totley, Sheffield, to recruit an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse.

The service supports adults aged 18 and over with physical disabilities, neurological conditions and complex nursing needs. This includes people living with acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, cerebral palsy, Huntington’s disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy and Parkinson’s disease.

The home delivers specialist nursing and complex care, including PEG care, while promoting rehabilitation, independence, community access and overall wellbeing.

The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

* Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care.

* Complete clinical assessments and contribute to individual care plans.

* Administer and manage medication safely.

* Monitor residents’ health and respond appropriately to changes.

* Support people with complex physical and neurological needs.

* Maintain accurate clinical records.

* Work closely with care staff, families and other healthcare professionals.

* Provide guidance and clinical leadership during shifts.

* Follow safeguarding, infection-control and health-and-safety procedures.

* Promote dignity, independence and quality of life.

Requirements

Applicants must:

* Hold an active UK NMC registration as an RGN, RMN or RNLD.

* Have appropriate nursing experience within a care, hospital or community setting.

* Be confident delivering safe and compassionate clinical care.

* Have strong communication, record-keeping and teamwork skills.

* Be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

* Have an existing right to work in the UK.

Experience supporting adults with physical disabilities, neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries, PEG care or other complex needs would be advantageous.
