Are you a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Surgeon looking for a new chapter in your career? This Veterinary Group in the Medway Towns, Kent, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their friendly and experienced team. This role offers a unique chance to develop your clinical interests while working in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Working ConditionsImagine working in a practice where flexible hours are the norm, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life seamlessly. You will have a fair share of the weekend rota (1 in 3 Saturdays, consults only) and no out‑of‑hours commitments, enabling you to enjoy your time off without the stress of unexpected calls. The practice can also offer relocation support, making it easier for you to settle into your new role.

The practice boasts excellent facilities, including surgical theatres, consult rooms, ultrasound, digital X‑ray, endoscopy equipment, and an in‑house laboratory with separate dog and cat wards. The Medway and wider Kent area offers a blend of countryside, coast, and excellent access to London.
ResponsibilitiesYou will work independently some days, with chances to take sole charge and help reopen the practice. You will discuss cases and treatment plans with owners, research cases, and book non‑routine surgeries or diagnostics. You should be comfortable managing a varied first‑opinion caseload and collaborating with a supportive culture that has many colleagues with 30–40 years of service.
Qualifications & ExperienceTo be considered you must be an RCVS‑registered Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 3‑5 years of UK small animal experience.
