Pharmacy Technician – Oncology

Location:

Spondon, Derby (On Site).

Contract:

Fixed Term 12 months to cover MAT leave. Salary:
Up to £31,000 per annum.

Hours:

37.5 per week.

We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Oncology team in an office‑based role. Your key responsibilities will include building and managing oncology prescriptions on electronic prescribing platforms, carrying out pharmaceutical and legality checks on prescriptions, and supporting our batch production and B2B oncology services. This is a desk‑based position that requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work across multiple IT systems.

About You

You will be a qualified Pharmacy Technician with a BTEC, NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Science, or equivalent qualification, and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). You should have excellent attention to detail, a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance, confidence to work across multiple IT systems and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies. We are looking for a collaborative team player who enjoys working with colleagues across the business, can take ownership of projects, and is motivated to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
