Location: Derbyshire

T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and fast paced manufacturing environment working on a wide range of technical products.

Quality Inspector Job Details & Benefits;

* Monday – Friday, 6am-2pm or 8am-4pm

 * £12.71 per hour to start, rising to £14.25 following a successful probation period

* 28 days holiday to start including bank holidays increasing with length of service to a maximum of 33 days including bank holidays

Quality Inspector Main Duties;

* Inspection of control panels, cable harnesses/looms, and mechanical assemblies to customer and internal drawings

* Carrying out visual inspections to ensure products meet workmanship and quality standards

* Continuity testing using a multimeter

* Identifying defects, damage, missing items, or workmanship issues

* Verifying assemblies against bills of materials, drawings, and work instructions

* Recording inspection results and reporting quality issues where required

* Supporting production teams with quality related queries

* Maintaining a clean and organised inspection area

* Following company quality procedures and health & safety requirements

Quality Inspector Person Specification;

* Previous inspection experience is essential

* Experience inspecting control panels, cable harnesses/looms, or mechanical assemblies would be advantageous.

* Experience using a multimeter for continuity testing

* Good attention to detail

* Ability to understand and follow technical drawings and documentation

* Careful and methodical approach to work

* Good communication skills

* Reliable and punctual

* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
