Are you a Quality Inspector with experience in Precision Engineering or Manufacturing, looking to join an established engineering company offering private medical insurance and a stable Monday-to-Friday working pattern?
Do you have experience inspecting machined components using precision measuring equipment, looking for a hands-on inspection role where you can develop your skills within a business investing in modern manufacturing technology?
The company an established engineering and manufacturing business based in Derby, providing high-quality design, engineering and precision manufacturing services to a diverse range of national and international customers.
The business specialises in delivering engineered components and manufacturing solutions, with a strong emphasis on quality, technical expertise and customer requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a specialist precision engineering business where you will undertake first-off, in-process and final inspections of machined components.
The Role:
Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection of precision-engineered components
Inspect machined parts, small castings and hand-held mechanical components
Undertake incoming and outgoing material and component inspections
Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances and technical specifications
Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, height gauges and bore gauges
Check manufactured components against customer requirements and engineering specifications
