Job Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Estate Management professional to join an established and growing team covering Wiltshire, Dorset and North Somerset.

The role would suit an ambitious Director or Senior Associate Director looking to take ownership of a varied client portfolio, build strong long-term relationships and provide strategic advice across a range of rural estates.

You’ll play an important role in developing client relationships, identifying new opportunities and delivering high-quality estate management advice, while also contributing to the continued development of the wider team and business.

Location

South West England based covering Wiltshire, Dorset and North Somerset.

Salary Package

Competitive Basic Salary Depending on Experience + Car Allowance + Benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with a varied portfolio of private clients and rural estates.
  • Contribute to the continued growth of the Estate Management offering across the region, identifying opportunities to strengthen the client base.
  • Proactively develop new business through existing relationships, networking and targeted prospecting.
  • Provide strategic, commercially focused estate management advice that supports clients’ long-term goals.
  • Coordinate with specialists across different disciplines to deliver joined-up, high-quality solutions for clients.
  • Develop a strong reputation within the rural property and estates sector, becoming a trusted adviser to clients and industry contacts.
  • Support, mentor and share knowledge with junior and developing members of the team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the wider organisation to bring together the right expertise for each client.
  • Contribute to business planning, strategy and growth initiatives within the wider rural property division.
  • Bring a proactive and adaptable approach, looking for new ideas, efficiencies and creative solutions to client requirements.
  • Make effective use of technology, data and market insight to support recommendations and improve client outcomes.
  • Help landowners and rural businesses plan for the future and maximise the long-term potential of their assets.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network across the rural, agricultural and professional services communities, including introducers and potential clients.
  • Act as an ambassador for the business within the market, developing connections that can lead to long-term client relationships and new instructions.
  • Take ownership of your work and responsibilities while maintaining a practical, collaborative and client-first approach.
Candidate Requirements
  • Extensive experience within rural estate management, rural surveying, land management or a closely related field.
  • Strong understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of managing rural estates and property portfolios.
  • Proven ability to manage client instructions and deliver high-quality professional advice.
  • Demonstrable experience in business development, networking and identifying new opportunities.
