Accessories & Jewellery Sales Assistant

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Part-Time Accessories & Jewellery Sales Assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will be passionate about fashion and accessories, enjoy delivering excellent customer service, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. This role involves helping customers find the perfect products, maintaining attractive visual displays, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers, providing a warm and engaging shopping experience.
• Offer styling advice and product recommendations to help customers choose jewellery and accessories.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge, including new collections and promotions.
• Replenish stock and ensure displays are clean, organised, and visually appealing.
• Assist with stock deliveries, inventory checks, and merchandising.
• Help achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Handle customer enquiries, returns, and exchanges professionally.
• Keep the store clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Support the team with opening and closing procedures when required.

Skills and Experience

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential.
• A genuine interest in fashion, jewellery, and accessories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and confident when engaging with customers.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a busy retail environment and multitasking.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holiday periods
