Job Description & How to Apply Below
We’re looking for an Ansul Fire Suppression Engineer to join the team at Abbot Fire Group. You’ll be installing, servicing and maintaining Ansul Fire Suppression systems for a wide range of clients across the UK. If you’re already Ansul certified this is ideal but if your certification has lapsed - it’s not a deal-breaker as we'll put you through a refresher course.
What you receive for joining us:
We’re offering a salary between £29,000 and £35,000, depending on experience, plus a premium rate for unsociable hours, and a strong package designed to support you both in and out of work. You’ll receive a company vehicle that allows for reasonable personal use, 25 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays, your birthday off, Company Pension, Phone, and uniform.
Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:
Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and professional installation of Ansul Fire Suppression systems in line with industry standards
Deliver and expertly install a variety of company products, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
Respond promptly to system faults and breakdowns, carrying out effective fault diagnosis and resolution
Provide a high standard of customer service on-site, addressing client queries and technical concerns with professionalism and clarity
Can you show experience in some of these areas:
Experience with Ansul Fire Suppression Systems is ideal (service, remedials, install on R102 & Piranha with UL300 & LPS
1223 standards), but we’ll also consider engineers with strong plumbing or mechanical skills who are keen to train in this area
A CSCS card or similar site safety certification would be an advantage, though we can support you in obtaining this if needed
Awareness of fire safety regulations is helpful, but we’ll provide full training to bring you up to speed on the standards specific to Ansul suppression systems
Comfortable working from technical drawings and system schematics, if you’ve done this in plumbing, pipework, or mechanical roles, those skills transfer perfectly.
Do you see yourself reflected in the description above? If so, we encourage you to submit your application today. Uncertain whether your skills align perfectly? Don't hesitate to apply regardless; we value candidates with diverse skill sets and will carefully consider all applicants.
