RequirementsYour Role as a Social Worker:
- Asa social worker within our family assessment services youwill be integral to providing accurate and objective adviceand support to parents enabling families to thrive.
- Youwill have the opportunity to build meaningful, professional and respectful working relationships with the families in our centres, while leading the assessment process and completing comprehensive assessments of parenting capacity.
- Witha manageable caseload you will get to know your families welland be able to tailor your assessments to meet their needsand provide the best opportunities for success.
- With dedicated social work practice managers, you will have social work qualified line management, supervision and support.
- With access to legal advice and bespoke training and opportunities within the social work service we will provide you with the theright environment to flourish and develop.
- Provide evidence based, analytical and comprehensive parenting assessments that provide clear recommendations for permanency planning for children and their families.
Our Ideal Candidate should:
- Have Social Work Qualification.
- Be registered with Social Work England.
- Havea minimum 1 year’s post qualifying experience with children and families.
- Demonstratea willingness and ability to work across a number of ourfamily assessment centres.
- Have experience and capability in preparing high-quality parenting assessment reports for court.
- Be experienced in working with families to complete robust parenting assessments, being honest, objective and open withthem.
