This is an exciting opportunity to support people through some of the most challenging periods of their lives, empowering them to reduce harm, improve their wellbeing and build sustainable recovery. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you'll deliver person-centred interventions that genuinely change lives.

About the Role

As a Key Worker, you will manage your own caseload, building trusted relationships with individuals accessing the service and supporting them throughout their recovery journey.

Working in a trauma-informed and person-centred way, you'll deliver high-quality interventions, reduce risk, promote wellbeing and work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure people receive the right support at the right time.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting individuals to access prescribing, detoxification and wider treatment pathways
Identifying and responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns in line with local and national guidance
Facilitating recovery-focused group sessions and promoting peer and mutual aid support
Working collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver holistic, person-centred care
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records using the case management system
Undertaking outreach work to engage individuals who may find it difficult to access services

Essential Requirements for the Role:

Experience working with individuals affected by drug and alcohol use or other vulnerable groups (including those engaged with Criminal Justice or Mental Health Services)
Experience delivering one-to-one interventions and/or group work within health, social care or support services
Knowledge of harm reduction principles and substance misuse treatment approaches
A strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and trauma-informed practice
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Benefits of working with our client:

Join a respected national charity making a genuine difference to people's lives
Be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering life-changing services
Access ongoing training, supervision and professional development opportunities
Work within an organisation that values compassion, inclusion and continuous learning
