An award‑winning software house based in Derby is looking for a Senior/Mid Java Developer with at least 5 years of experience. You will collaborate with other Java developers on design decisions and application requirements, reporting to the Technical Team Leader.

• Design, develop and maintain Java applications.
• Participate in design discussions and decisions.
• Implement functionality using JEE, J2EE, and related technologies.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Contribute to documentation and best practices.
• Assist in the deployment and monitoring of applications.

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Proficiency in Java SE, JDK 7, and JEE/J2EE.
• Experience with Wildfly, JAX‑RS, CDI (Weld), EJB 3 Stateless Session Beans, JPA.
• Knowledge of RESTful services, XML, SOAP.
• Familiarity with Eclipse IDE, UNIX, Redmine, JUnit.
• Java certification is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
