HGV Driver – Derby City Council

Excellent opportunity to work as an HGV Driver with Derby City Council. Staffline is recruiting an HGV Driver in Derby.

The hourly rate is £15.56 per hour. The working hours for this full‑time fixed position are Tuesday to Friday 6am to 3:45pm
.

This role requires a good level of physical fitness due to the demands of the position. Very heavy lifting is involved.

Responsibilities

Driving refuse vehicles
Working as part of a small team
Occasional cleaning
Completing void clearances and pick‑ups

Qualifications

LGV Cat C driving licence
Full, in‑date CPC
Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
Good level of physical fitness; walking up to 12 miles per day over a 4‑day work week; potential for overtime
