At Bensons for Beds, we're looking for experienced 7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Drivers to join our friendly delivery team. This is more than just driving - you'll be the face of our business, delivering beds and furniture into our customers' homes and helping create a fantastic experience from start to finish.

Working as part of a two-person delivery team, you'll:

• Deliver beds, mattresses and furniture safely into customers' homes

• Assemble products in the customer's room of choice

• Provide friendly, professional customer service on every delivery

• Drive safely while maintaining high vehicle standards

• Use a PDA to complete delivery information accurately

• Handle furniture safely using correct manual handling techniques

You'll be someone who enjoys driving, takes pride in delivering excellent service and doesn't mind getting stuck in.

You'll need:

• A valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence

• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Previous experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle commercially

• Good knowledge of digital tachographs and EU drivers' hours legislation

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• The ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy furniture safely

• Confidence working as part of a two-person team

It would be great if you also have experience using handheld PDA devices, although full training will be provided.
