HGV Class 1 driver

HGV Class 1 Driver Castle Donington £21.01 - £35.40 per hour Rapier Employment are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our well-established client based in Castle Donington . Please note that all shift patterns include at least one weekend day.

The Role As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to RDCs and retail stores across the region. This role will involve some physical work, including the use of tail lifts and cage deliveries.

Key Responsibilities Completing deliveries to RDCs and retail stores Unloading store deliveries using cages and tail lifts Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently Maintaining compliance with drivers' hours and transport legislation Shift Availability Days Start times between 04:00 and 09:00 £ 18.75 per hour PAYE £28.12 per hour PAYE overtime £21.01 per hour including holiday pay £31.51 per hour overtime including holiday pay Nights Start times between 15:00 and 21:00 £ 21.06 per hour PAYE £31.59 per hour PAYE overtime £23.60 per hour including holiday pay £35.40 per hour overtime including holiday pay Overtime paid after 43.75 hours worked per week.

Rates are the same Monday to Sunday.
