£39,967.30 Per Annum | 45-Hour Contract | Monday to Friday | Modern Vehicles | Paid Induction | Permanent Opportunities This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver or HGV Trunking Driver. Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• AM and PM shifts advertised, subject to confirmation
• Start times currently stated as between 6:00pm and 6:00am
• 45-hour contract Rates of Pay • £39,967.30 per annum, based on a 45-hour contract

• Three-day paid company induction programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:
• Safely operating Category CE vehicles
• Completing approximately three to five trunk runs per day
• Operating curtain-sided trailers safely and efficiently
• Securing loads correctly, including awkward loads
• Completing deliveries to various destinations within scheduled times
• Communicating effectively with the transport team
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Following company policies, procedures and health and safety regulations
• Ensuring compliance with Drivers' Hours Regulations, tachograph requirements and working time legislation Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:
• Valid UK Category CE driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum six months' continuous HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor driving offences
• No major driving endorsement codes
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach
• Willingness to complete a driving assessment before starting

Desirable Experience
• Previous experience completing HGV Class 1 trunking runs
• Experience operating curtain-sided trailers
• Experience securing awkward or non-standard loads Training Provided
• Driving assessment required before starting
• Three-day paid company induction programme
