Pay Rate: £330/day DOE

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting multiple experienced Ground workers / Civils Operatives to join a site team working at Necton Substation in Norfolk.
This role is within a live high-voltage substation environment, supporting ongoing civil engineering and infrastructure works.
The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality groundworks while maintaining strict compliance with site safety rules and National Grid standards. Experience working in utility or substation environments is highly advantageous.

Key

Duties & Responsibilities:

All aspects of groundworking and civil engineering works
Concrete remedials and minor bricklaying works
Duct laying for utility services
Levelling and preparation of chippings / Type 3 material
Operating Forward Tipping Dumper and Roller
Banksman / PVM (Plant Vehicle Marshal) duties
Working in line with HSG
47 cable avoidance standards (CAT1 & CAT2 highly beneficial)
Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance on a live substation site
Essential Requirements:

Proven experience as a Groundworker / Civils Operative
Valid CSCS Card
EUSR National Grid Persons
CPCS Forward Tipping Dumper & Roller
HSG
47 CAT1 & CAT2 certification (advantageous)
Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach
