Maths Teacher

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a secondary school on a maternity cover basis starting November 2025
. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a high-achieving, supportive department.

• Teach engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the ability to teach KS5 an advantage.
• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that cater for different abilities and learning styles.
• Assess, record and report on the development and progress of pupils in line with school policies.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, confidence and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative resources and share best practice.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
• Proven ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills as a Maths Teacher.
