Reablement Support Worker 8728
Permanent contract | £21,407 to £22,817 per annum (Scale
E) | 30 hours per week | Elizabeth House, Dereham.
Working pattern over two weeks including weekends and bank holidays.
• 30 hours per week in the Wymondham and surrounding areas. You will work a range of mornings (7:30am to 1:30pm) and evenings (4pm to 8:30pm) with the hours averaged out over a two‑week rota, enabling you to plan in advance to maintain a healthy work‑life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide reablement support to people in their homes to help them regain previous abilities within 6 weeks following a period of ill health or change in circumstances.
- Deliver a range of caring, empathetic and committed support activities, ensuring you can commute easily to people's homes.
- Access a vehicle and hold a full driving licence, or commit to training if you don't have a licence yet.
- Take part in training to gain your Care Certificate.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle, or a willingness to obtain a licence.
- Empathy, caring attitude and commitment to making a difference.
- No previous experience required – full training will be given.
