Job description

Job Purpose: To support a creative mother and her three children (two autistic) with daily living tasks s is due to the mother having a health condition which restricts her mobility, but when possible she does like to get out and about with the children.

Location: NR19, Dereham

Essential

• Car owner/driver with appropriate business insurance to use your vehicle for work purposes
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
• Common sense and good organisational skills
• Family orientated and good with children

Desirable

• Ability to cook
• An understanding of autistic spectrum disorder (ASD)

Summary terms and conditions

• The rate of pay for this position is £14.10 per hour
• Hours and times of work:
  Up to 12hrs a week, Monday-Sunday. Expecting to work between 5-6 2hr shifts a week, with additional hours to cover other PA's holidays. Times to be negotiated/flexible.
• Other duties will be discussed if/when deemed appropriate but everything that will be expected will be explained prior to acceptance of the position.
• The post is subject to the following:
• A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
• Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
• Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months
