Role Overview

Landmarc Support Services is seeking a motivated Facilities Team Leader to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead a group of operatives dedicated to the upkeep and maintenance of the Training Estate facilities. Typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30, early finishes on Fridays

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team, acting as their primary point of contact for task allocation and performance management
  • Play an active role – 80% of your time will involve working alongside your team
  • Undertake cleaning duties within facilities and accommodation blocks
  • Oversee stock levels, ensuring materials and supplies are managed efficiently
  • Carry out grounds maintenance tasks
  • Operate and maintain plant machinery and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
  • Complete all necessary documentation using both IT and paper-based systems
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support the overall success of the team
Qualifications
  • Essential knowledge of Soft Facilities Management Services
  • Experience in housekeeping, building and grounds maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast‑paced team environment
  • Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety procedures
  • A valid UK manual driving licence
  • BPSS security clearance is mandatory; SC clearance may be required for certain posts
  • Desirable – IOSH Managing Safely qualification
