Spider is advertising on behalf of a high-quality maintenance and repair services for heavy goods vehicles and plant machinery who are looking for a Trailer Technician/ Fitter to join their team either full time or part time in Shipdham Airfield, near Dereham, Norfolk.

Fantastic company benefits include:

Competitive Salary: £41,000 - £43,000 depending on experience
Holiday: 20 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 25 days after three years of service.

Typically operate Monday to Friday, open to part-time arrangements.

About the role:

As a Trailer Technician/ Fitter in our busy workshop, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the performance and reliability of heavy goods vehicles and plant machinery. You'll engage in a variety of hands-on tasks, including inspections, repairs, and servicing.

Main

Duties and Responsibilities:

Carrying out trailer inspections and attending breakdowns.
Preparing vehicles for MOT.
Diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs on vehicles and plant machinery.
Providing vehicle servicing and general maintenance.
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

About You:

You are a motivated Trailer Technician/ Fitter with a passion for working as part of a small but efficient team. Your hands-on approach and attention to detail ensure high-quality workmanship in every task. With an NVQ Level 3 or proven experience under your belt. As a problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment, you appreciate the value of teamwork and communication in achieving common goals.

Please note the client are located away from public transport, so a personal vehicle is essential for commuting.
