As a Park Maintenance Worker, you will conduct a wide range of indoor and outdoor maintenance and construction activities throughout Keystone State Park. Assignments will entail utilizing tools of carpentry, masonry, plumbing, painting, and other building trades to make repairs to structures and facilities. Specific assignments may involve making minor repairs to footbridges, roofs, and campground equipment, as well as maintaining proper signage throughout the park.
Within this role, it is essential to safely operate park vehicles and equipment, in addition to assisting with the overall care, maintenance, and upkeep of the equipment used. You will also tend to grounds maintenance to include mowing, weeding, planting, trash removal, and debris management. Courteous communication skills may be employed to assist park visitors by providing general information in a friendly and helpful manner.

- This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2026 until November 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately March 2027.
- Work schedule will vary. Work will be scheduled 5 days/37.5 hours per week and will include a 30‑minute lunch. Weekends and holidays may be required.

- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
- This position requires possession of a valid PA non‑commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
- You must meet the PA residency requirement.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
