• Provide a dedicated professional security presence in a healthcare setting.
• Promote patient safety with consistent patrols, de-escalation tactics, and a focus on compassionate care.
• Assist medical staff in high-intensity incidents and emergencies.
• Conduct patient safety screenings, provide access control, and customer service assistance.
• Complete accurate after-action reports for incidents and calls for service.
• Assist the medical team with medical restraints as trained and transport deceased patients to the morgue.
• Maintain hospital safety and security policies and protect patient safety and dignity with the highest level of professionalism.

• High school diploma or GED verifiable by a third-party background check.
• At least 2 years of verifiable work history with no gaps in employment longer than 90 days.
• Ability to pass a federal 10-panel drug test.
• Willing to undergo TB bloodwork and vaccination compliance requirements.
• Ability to remain calm, confident, and reliable in stressful situations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and respond quickly when needed.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security, or related fields.
• Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy or verified work experience in law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighting.
• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies.
• Eight or more years of service in any military branch.
• Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service.
