Riada are excited to be working with an expanding Accountancy Practice in L/Derry who are looking for an experienced Payroller to join their successful finance team. Offering flexibility in working hours (full or part time), our client is looking for a Payroller who is keen to take on responsibility for managing the payroll process for an interesting and varied client base: ​

About the role:

  • £Competitive salary
  • Full or part time (full time hours would be Mon to Thurs 8.15am - 5.30 pm, Fri 9am - 1pm)
  • L/Derry
  • Hybrid working will be considered
  • Permanent

What you will you be doing in this role:

  • Processing end-to-end payroll for multiple clients - weekly, fortnightly and monthly.
  • Calculate and process statutory payments including Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), and workplace pension contributions.
  • Manage complex additions and deductions, including bonuses, overtime, salary sacrifice schemes, and advances.
  • Ensure full compliance with UK tax laws by executing Real Time Information (RTI) submissions (FPS and EPS) to HMRC.
  • Generate and distribute statutory documents, including P45s, P60s, and payslips, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • CIS Processing.

What you will need for this role:

  • A minimum of 2 years recent payroll experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
  • Working knowledge of payroll software, experience of Bright Pay would be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
