Tax Technician​/Chartered Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and proactive accounting professional to join a well-established team in Derry/Londonderry on a full-time, permanent basis. Operating Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role offers an immediate start and a highly competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £50,000, depending on level of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

• Respond to client queries regarding tax, payroll, VAT, and accounting matters.

• Prepare and submit personal and business tax returns.

• Complete VAT returns, payroll processing, and bookkeeping for a diverse client portfolio.

• Provide tax planning support to individuals and businesses, advising on tax-efficient strategies and ensuring compliance with current tax legislation.

What We Need From You

• ACCA Qualified (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)

• Degree in accounting, finance, or related subject

• Previous experience in accounting role

• Strong knowledge of tax, VAT, payroll, and general accounting practices
