Job description

Are you interested in digital content, websites or online engagement? This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while supporting our digital team to improve website content and user experience.

In this role, you’ll help keep website content accurate, up to date and easy to use. This includes updating pages such as news, events and articles, carrying out quality checks, and spotting issues like broken links or formatting errors. You’ll also support with uploading content and images, and making sure everything meets accessibility and brand standards.

You’ll learn how to use a content management system and gain experience in improving content for usability, search engines and accessibility. You’ll also have the chance to look at website data to understand how users interact with content, and work with different teams to gather information for updates.

We’re looking for someone with good writing and attention to detail, who is confident using digital tools and keen to learn. An interest in websites or digital content is important, and any experience with content management systems or project tools would be helpful, but training will be provided.

This placement is a great way to build practical skills and experience in a supportive team.

This role is funded specifically for candidates who experience sight loss and are not in paid work - we are looking forward to receiving your application, if this applies to you. Previous placement holders need not apply.
