Job Description
The EHS Administrator will be based onsite at our Campsie, Northern Ireland facility and will provide administrative support in the EHS functions within the business. This entails supporting the EHS Team and other Managers at all levels regarding day‑to‑day EHS activities. Additionally, duties include supporting meetings, maintaining accurate training records and other obligations directed by the EHS Team.
Responsibilities- Promoting and engagement in good catch programme.
- Keeping up‑to‑date EHS training records and checking renewal dates.
- Maintaining records in compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
- Co‑ordinating all aspects of training to ensure mandatory completion in line with legislative requirements.
- Actively encouraging reporting of SIF‑P.
- Tracking SOPs, RA’s, mandatory training plans, and maintaining mandatory data; researching historic data and recording on the EHS training matrix, and maintaining current statistics information.
- Recording, logging, communicating, and chasing accidents/near misses; keeping control systems up to date and maintaining accident trend analysis.
- Preparing monthly global safety KPI reports.
- Performing first aid and fire‑equipment weekly and monthly checks.
- Monitoring air leaks, spill kits and hazardous waste.
- Administering and planning Occupational Health Surveillance appointments and records, including communicating with HR.
- Ensuring supplier data sheets for COSHH are up to date, recording information into the COSHH database, writing information sheets, and keeping records of risk assessment communications.
- Receiving, logging and compiling compliance audit checklists and associated statistics.
- Receiving, logging and following up on FLT and Equipment Pre‑Use Inspections, addressing defects and mandatory actions; sending safety memos and mandatory communications into the business.
- Minimum 1 year experience in an administrative role.
- Advanced Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Valid driving licence.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organised, methodical, rigorous, and resolute approach to work.
