THE EMPLOYER IS: NORTHLAND MOTORSThe vehicle valeter is responsible for ensuring that all vehicles within the mechanical workshop are cleaned, prepared and maintained to an appropriate standard before and after mechanical repairs or servicing. The role supports efficient workshop operations and contributes to a professional presentation of vehicles to customers.
Responsibilities- Clean and valet interiors and exteriors with workshop standards.
- Wax, polish and detail vehicles as required.
- Clean wheels, tyres and windows and engine compartments where appropriate.
- Prepare vehicles for mechanical inspection, servicing and repair.
- Safely move, park and position vehicles within the workshop and surrounding parking areas.
- Assist workshop staff by maintaining clean and orderly work spaces.
- Basic knowledge of vehicles and workshop environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driving licence.
- Previous experience in vehicle valeting or mechanical workshop environment.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to procedures.
- Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment and tools safely.
