Your new company A well-established and growing construction contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team and lead the delivery of a flagship new build social housing development in Co. a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential, commercial and public sector projects across Northern Ireland, the company is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a secure pipeline of work and a proven track record of investing in its people. Your new role As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of a new-build social housing scheme comprising a mix of new homes and apartment will manage site operations from commencement through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with the Contracts Manager, subcontractors, design teams and client representatives, you will lead all site activities while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project life cycle. Key responsibilities will include:
Managing all on-site construction activities Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour Driving programme performance and ensuring key milestones are achieved Maintaining health, safety and environmental standards Conducting site meetings and reporting on project progress Monitoring quality standards and managing snagging processes Liaising with clients, consultants and statutory bodies as required Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a Site Manager delivering new build residential or social housing projects Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and site management processes Excellent organisational and communication skills Proven ability to manage site programmes and subcontractor performance SMSTS or SSSTS certification Valid CSR/CSCS card First Aid qualification A strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards Full UK driving licence What you'll get in return In return, you will join a highly regarded contractor offering a supportive working environment, long-term career prospects and a strong pipeline of work throughout Northern Ireland.
