The Opportunity:

Our client - a large established, engineering company with a full order book and expansion plans - is seeking multiple experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to join their innovative team based in Omagh, Co. Tyrone. With a reputation for engineering excellence and strong staff retention, this is an opportunity to contribute to challenging, high-value projects.

The Role:

You'll work on the full design lifecycle of complex mechanical systems, from concept through to detailed 3D design and project delivery. This includes:

Creating 3D CAD models and detailed drawings (Solid Works or similar)
Collaborating with production, procurement, and project teams

Managing design changes, BOMs, and technical documentation

Problem-solving engineering challenges from prototype to production

Ensuring designs meet quality, safety, and performance standards

What the company is looking for:3+ years of experience in Mechanical Design or Project Design Engineering Strong 3D CAD skills (e.g. Solid Works, Inventor, Creo, etc.)Background in heavy engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing environments

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
