Accounting Technician - L/Derry

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounting Technician to join a busy and supportive finance environment in the L/Derry area. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work across payroll, bookkeeping, and accounts preparation, supporting a varied client base while developing your skills within a well-structured finance team.

• £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday

• Permanent role

• Processing of client payrolls using Brightpay software for all payroll frequencies, including calculation of statutory payments, holiday pay etc.
• All work in connection with pension auto enrolment
• Basic accounting tasks including bank reconciliations, summarising and analysing financial information using Excel and inputting onto accounting software
• Preparation of accounts to Trial Balance stage or further
• Completion of VAT Returns etc.
• Maintenance of client book-keeping records using either Sage Line 50 or Microsoft Excel

• Previous experience in payroll processing within a finance or accounts environment is required.
