Manager​/Senior Manager

VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a leading mid-tier accountancy and advisory firm to recruit a talented CTA-qualified tax professional into their growing Derry / Londonderry office.

This is a standout opportunity to step into a pure advisory‑led role, working closely with senior leadership on high-value, complex projects across a diverse client base. The firm operates as part of a global network, offering exposure to international work while maintaining a strong local presence and collaborative culture.

This position is ideally suited to a motivated Manager or Senior Manager who is keen to move beyond compliance and focus on meaningful, client‑facing advisory work.
You will work across a broad range of projects including corporate restructuring, succession planning, M&A support, international structuring and tax planning for owner‑managed businesses and large corporates.

• Lead and deliver complex tax advisory projects from planning through to execution
• Work closely with Partners on strategic client engagements
• Provide commercially focused tax advice to a varied portfolio of clients
• Support transactions including mergers, acquisitions and business restructuring
• Advise on international tax matters and cross‑border structuring
• Mentor and develop junior team members
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor

• CTA qualified (essential)
• ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent
• Proven experience in tax advisory, ideally within practice
• Strong technical knowledge across corporate tax, with exposure to advisory work
• Commercial mindset with the ability to translate technical advice into practical solutions
• Ambitious, driven and keen to progress within a high‑performing environment
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
