About the company

A rapidly expanding business based in theNorthwest area are seeking to appoint a Financial Controller to join their team, reporting to and working closely with their experienced Finance Director. With exciting growth plans in place and opportunities for future career progression, this is an opportunity not to be missed for any ambitious accountant seeking to take the next step in their career.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of management accounts
• Preparation of budgets/forecasts

• Provide accurate reporting to support decision-making at board level

• Tax compliance

• Overseeing a small team

• Implementing process improvements across the finance function

• Involvement in exciting commercial projects

• Systems/process improvement

• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
