Phlebotomist – Derry/Londonderry - (Job N/PBLD)

Contract Offered: Full-time, permanent.

Working Hours/

Shifts:

Alternating Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday shift patterns. 7:40 am – 4:20 pm on Monday and Saturday; 6:40 am – 3:20 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; 10:20 am – 7 pm on some Wednesdays and Thursdays when required. Shifts are subject to change.

Vaccination Requirement: Must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to receive it following a successful interview stage.

Right to Work: Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months from the application date. Visa sponsorship is not offered at the point of hire.

• Ensure customers have an excellent experience from entry to exit.
• Conduct comprehensive client appointments including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into the Patient Information System (PIS).
• Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent.
• Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation.
• Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments.
• Engage in upselling and cross-selling at the private health clinic.
• Proactively drive sales and exceed targets.
• Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately.
• Demonstrate high IT literacy to manage various software systems and daily tasks.

• Previous phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training.
• Confident using IT programmes.
• Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Flexibility to work from offsite locations at least once per month.
• Strong communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
• Valid UK or Irish driving licence.

• Experience in a private healthcare setting.
• Experience in customer service.
• 2 years experience in phlebotomy.
• Sales / retail experience.
