HR Officer - Manufacturing - Derry
MCS Group is delighted to be working with a progressive and ambitious manufacturing organisation, who are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to senior management, this role will oversee and manage all aspects of HR within the business while providing support and guidance across the full employee lifecycle.
Role & ResponsibilitiesManage and administer all aspects of HR within the organisation
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from drafting job descriptions to onboarding new hires
Deliver induction training and support ongoing learning & development initiatives
Maintain training/skills analysis and implement development plans
Manage payroll administration
Oversee absence management, employee relations, and performance management
Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance
Ensure fair employment monitoring and reporting obligations are met
Support health & safety requirements where needed
2+ years' experience in an HR Officer, HR Generalist, or similar role
Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and employment legislation
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
CIPD-qualified or working towards (advantageous)
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
