Job Overview

The CTO is a senior executive responsible for shaping technology strategy across strategic client accounts and ensuring technology acts as a true business enabler. Acting as a trusted advisor to C-level leaders, the CTO translates complex business needs into actionable technology solutions, contributes to enterprise architecture roadmaps, and strengthens Insight’s position as a strategic partner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the definition of solution objectives across selected client accounts, aligning technology initiatives with business priorities.
  • Make executive decisions on technology strategy, architecture, and solution delivery, balancing short‑term client needs with long‑term goals.
  • Introduce relevant technological innovations to clients and contribute to industry thought leadership.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within both Insight and client teams.
  • Build strong, trust‑based relationships with client leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Provide expert guidance, domain insights, and ensure solutions deliver tangible business value.
  • Serve as a Technical Executive Sponsor, securing the QA role and facilitating governance approvals.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with regulatory requirements and mitigate operational risks.
  • Mentor and coach technology teams, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Job Requirements
  • 10+ years in senior technology leadership roles (CTO, Enterprise Architect, Technology Director, Principal Consultant).
  • Proven experience partnering with C‑level executives to shape and define technology strategy.
  • Strong background in enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and innovation‑led solutions.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architectures, infrastructure modernization, application transformation, and emerging technologies (AI, automation, cybersecurity).
  • Experience in consulting or client‑facing environments.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable technology roadmaps.
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Track record of mentoring and coaching technical teams.
  • Experience working within a hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP) or startup environment.
  • Strong presales experience, including selling the vision, value‑based storytelling.
  • Proven ability to lead bids, manage RFP/RFI processes, and craft compelling solution proposals.
  • Skilled in designing and delivering effective, high‑impact demos tailored to both technical and executive audiences.
