Workday HCM Consultant

Main Purpose & Responsibilities

As a Workday Consultant with Recruitment and/or Benefits at Kainos, you will support the specification, design and configuration of enterprise‑scale Workday product solutions. You will work with internal delivery teams to deliver fit‑for‑purpose, commercially viable solutions, translating customer requirements and performing hands‑on product configuration.

• Very good understanding of Workday products (HCM/Financials/Payroll) and Recruitment and/or Benefits
• Strong customer focus, experience in a consulting environment, ability to build relationships and know when to escalated issues
• Clear and effective communication skills, able to engage customers and colleagues remotely
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics
• Ability to work independently within remote teams and manage own workload to meet deadlines
• Some consulting skills – presenting, workshops, explaining functionality or solutions to customers
• Apply standards and procedures to maintain high quality, accuracy and attention to detail
• Awareness of confidentiality, non‑disclosure policies and information security
• Awareness of Kainos product offering and company strategy
• Contribute process improvements for the practice
• Willingness to learn in depth about relevant subject matter (e.g., international regulatory requirements)
• Rotating through various Workday delivery services, including Consulting and Application Management Services
• For Application Management Services, deliver work to meet defined Service Level Agreements
• Will travel to customer sites within the region, with limited out‑of‑region travel if required

• Workday HCM, Financials or Payroll Certification
• Professional qualifications in your area of expertise
• Experience in post‑deployment services
