Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform Functional Consultant

As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform Functional Consultant, you will bridge the gap between IT capability and business expectations on Microsoft Dynamics projects. You will collaborate with clients to design and build solutions based on Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform, including AI features, to deliver benefits for them and their customers.

• Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Identify opportunities to make best use of the ever‑expanding platform features.
• Balance the benefits and risks of customization.
• Recommend the best approach to support client needs.
• Lead discovery workshops, create functional designs, configure solutions, support testing, assist with data migration, deliver training, and support implementation.
• Identify priorities, assign tasks, and allocate resources effectively within the team.
• Build relationships with counterparts in other disciplines across the project and manage dependencies between disciplines.
• Manage, coach, and develop junior colleagues, focusing on performance management and career development.

• Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform products; in-depth knowledge of at least two of Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, Field Service, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, or Power BI.
• Understanding of AI features within Microsoft Dynamics CE and Power Platform and ability to utilize them to deliver business benefits.
• Familiarity with related technologies such as Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams, and ability to configure integrations.
• End‑to‑end implementation experience in medium to high complexity projects, covering requirements analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, data migration, cutover, and reporting.
• Ability to create and influence solution designs with a configuration‑first approach, minimizing customisation risks and costs.
• Ability to demonstrate out‑of‑the‑box functionality to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in designing and building classic and Power Automate workflows to automate medium‑complexity tasks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience eliciting, reviewing, and prioritising requirements.

• Experience teaching others how to convert business requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Initiative to research solutions independently before seeking assistance.
• Collaboration and knowledge sharing with peers.
• Experience using Dev Ops for managing Epics, Features, User Stories, and Tasks, and aligning progress with Sprints.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and recognize when to seek guidance or raise concerns.
• Adherence to agreed standards of behaviour, speed, and quality of delivery.
