The Business Systems – BI / Automation Specialist will support the continued evolution of Seagate's EMEA Physical Security programme by identifying opportunities to improve business processes, increase efficiency and enhance the operational performance of our security systems.

This role focuses on understanding how our people, our processes and our technology work together to deliver better business outcomes. Working across multiple teams and stakeholders, you will help design practical business solutions, implement automation opportunities, improve our site security reporting and support the successful adoption of new tools and ways of working.

A key aspect of the role will be identifying business process opportunities to leverage automation, as well as Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled tools to simplify site security processes, improve efficiency and support better business outcomes.

This position is ideal for someone with a Business Systems – BI / Automation background, as well as operational excellence, data analytics, or digital transformation experience, who enjoys turning complex challenges into simple, scalable solutions.

• Understand business processes and operational challenges across our EMEA Physical Security programmes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, simplify workflows and reduce manual effort in the work that we do.
• Design practical, scalable solutions that improve business outcomes and user experience.
• Assess the impact of proposed changes across stakeholders, processes and systems.

• Develop and implement automated solutions using Microsoft 365, Power Platform and other business technologies.
• Leverage Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, reporting and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, streamline workflows and enhance decision-making through automation and AI.

• Create dashboards, reports and performance metrics to support informed decision-making.
• Measure programme effectiveness and identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the development of meaningful KPIs that improve visibility and operational performance.

• Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate challenges into practical solutions.
• Support communication, training and adoption activities for new processes and technologies.
• Help teams embrace new ways of working and realise the benefits of change.
