Overview of Role We are looking for a motivated IT Support Technician. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone early in their IT career who is keen to develop their technical skills in a supportive environment. As the first point of contact for colleagues requiring technical assistance, you will help deliver a high-quality IT support service across the business.

We combine deep domain expertise, highly skilled delivery teams, and scalable operations models to help organisations navigate complex regulations and operate with confidence. We employ 1,300 people across Belfast, Derry/Londonderry, Letterkenny, London, New York and Porto, supporting clients throughout EMEA, APAC and the Americas.
This role is based on-site at our Derry/Londonderry office.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to colleagues across the business
- Set up andmaintainuser accounts and access permissions
- Support device deployment and management using Microsoft technologies
- Resolve service desk incidents and requests in line with agreed processes
- Provide on-site support for hardware,software and meeting room technology
- Escalate complex issues to senior team members where required
- Assist with routine infrastructure checks and maintenance activities
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive user experience
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in IT support, servicedeskor helpdesk environment
- An IT-related qualification,apprenticeshipor certification
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies through projects,studyor practical application
In addition, candidates mustpossessstrong communication skills, a customer-focusedapproachand a genuine desire to build a career in IT.
Desirable
Experience:
- Exposure to Microsoft 365 technologies such as Azure, Intune, Exchange, SharePoint or Teams
- Awareness of IT Service Management concepts such as Incident Management and Asset Management
- Experience using ticketing or service desk tools
- Previous customer-facing support experience
You should be able to demonstrate the following skills:
